Vocal Breakthrough currently runs a regular singing class every Tuesday 4.30pm - 5.30pm.
Every year this Vocal Breakthrough group puts on a performance in which all students will participate in, which results in their own professionally produced CD.

We offer workshops and one to one sessions using various techniques to suit the individual.
Singing is a powerful tool, it allows you to express all your emotions freely. With practice and awareness you can unblock the feelings that suppresses you.
Course Aims
Students will be able to create various sounds when using correct breathing control. Your mouth is a natural instrument. The method of teaching on this subject has a lot of practical demonstrations. This method refers to the performance plus an explanation by the teacher of the task to be learned, the demonstration of a task must be followed by practice preferably immediately while its fresh in the student mind.
The objectives student are trying to achieve:
- To develop vocal techniques and voice projection
- To extend the vocal range (high and low)
- To improve pictching and attack of notes (tuning and timing)
- To perfect entertaining, to sing in tune and work out harmonies
- To master breath control (escape of breath) to be in charge of sound quality
- To adjust resonance and breath control and hereby choose the voice characters such as (A) breathy, (B) clear, (C) loud, (D) mid tone, (E) bright tone and (F) bass tone
- To recongnise faults and bad habits to recording voice exercises and other vocal performances
- To accept the limitation of one's voice, but knowing there is always need for improvement
- To get fit and stay in top vocal shape by regular excercising
- To understand the importance of confidence and its effect on the vocal performance
Students are continuously evaluated at the beginning of each lesson and after the session.
Checking a skill like this, practise is a major aim, it prevents the student from repeating an incorrect note.
